GOOD NEWS AT HOME
Eight weeks of Biblical and practical reflection on the Household Covenant
‘As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord’ Joshua 24:15
The Household Covenant is a tool for responsible living. It is based upon the premise that one of the most urgent challenges for Western Christians today is to reject the destructiveness and soullessness of our consumer culture. In the words of the Apostle Paul, it is an attempt to ‘conform no longer to the present pattern of the world’ (Romans 12:2).
This series seeks to explore in depth the seven areas of the Household Covenant, asking ‘What does the Bible have to say about this?’, and ‘How could we do things differently?’.
